Commercial Fire Systems

A fire alarm system is one of the most important building systems there is.  A properly designed and functioning fire alarm not only saves lives, but also limits the damage to the building in the event of a fire.  On the other hand, a poorly designed system or one in need of service or inspection could leave the building owner and occupants in dire consequences.  This is why we work closely with manufacturers and local authorities to insure the fire alarms we service are code compliant and fully functional.

We can service and install most types of equipment like:

  • Smoke Detectors – Conventional or Addressable.  These include traditional ceiling mounted detectors, beam detectors, duct detectors, and flame detectors.
  • Gas Detectors – Carbon Monoxide (CO2), Methane, Hydrogen, and Air Quality.
  • Hazardous Locations – Explosion proof detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
  • Voice Evac – Allows recorded messages to transmit instructions to building occupants.  Can be used by first responders to communicate with remaining occupants.
  • Fire Suppression Systems – Used in high valued areas like computer rooms and vaults to extinguish fires when activated by the fire alarm.
  • Building Integration – Actively protects the building occupants by automatically closing fire doors and dampers, shutting down HVAC units and machinery, and unlocking exit doors.

Some of the brands we service are:

  • Bosch / Radionics
  • Fire-Lite
  • Hochiki / FireNET
  • Honeywell / Ademco
  • Mircom
  • Napco
  • Silent Knight
  • Siemens
  • Summit
  • Let us know if you don’t see your brand listed here

Along with new installations and repairs we also offer the following services:

  • Annual Inspections – Most jurisdictions require the system be inspected annually.  Also, some insurance companies will not cover a loss due to fire if annual inspection records are not kept up to date.
  • Certification of Completion – This is normally required on new construction when the fire alarm is put into service.
  • Fire System Design and Engineering – We work with NICET Certified professionals to design systems for new and existing facilities.
  • Sensitivity Testing – Most jurisdictions require smoke detection devices be sensitivity tested on 2 and 5 year internals, depending on the application.
  • Monitoring – We provide UL Listed Central Station Monitoring via Traditional Telephone Lines, IP Communicators, Dedicated Radio, and Cellular Systems.
